No flu shots at CSI properties…

Due to possible liability issues, flu shot clinics are not allowed at any of the Co-ops. However…

The co-ops often shuttle members to sites for their shots, and Hannan House has a flu shot event sponsored by the DMC every fall (especially good for the Labelle members)!

If you’re looking for a health workshop, consider other, less invasive health monitoring by non-profit or governmental health care providers, including things like blood pressure.

CSI Rally Picnic: Membership required

From Sharon at CSI:

I just received an email from Rachel at Hannan Foundation letting me know that one of our co-ops invited the service coordinator to attend the Rally Picnic.

The Rally Picnic is only for members or non-housing members that have purchased the $100 membership. I did invite the service coordinators to pay the $100 and become a member. Also, if a SC does become a non-housing member and attends the Rally Picnic and/or the Annual meeting he or she will not be paid by the co-op (thru Hannan)while attending the event.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Service Coordination Baseline Survey

This survey is being distributed by the liaisons to your co-ops. A very similar version was sent out in 2010 and provided much of the data on service need utilized for CSI’s grant applications for the SC program. They had intended to send it out again prior to you starting at the co-ops in order to gather baseline data, but they are a little behind getting it out to members. It, nonetheless, will still serve as baseline data because you haven’t started working with many members yet. Please remember not to collect the surveys – they are a CSI document.
