Oakwood Healthcare is presenting a free educational session on Navigating Michigan Law in Understanding Guardian’s Authority for End of Life Decisions. Chief Judge Milton Mack from Wayne County Probate Court will be presenting on this topic. Educational Series for Caregivers
The Turner Geriatric Clinic Social Work department (a part of the University of Michigan Health System) will provide an informational/educational 4-week series for those caring for aging relatives; June 5th – June 26th, 2013, Wednesday Evenings from 6PM – 8PM.
Topics that will be covered include:
- Medication Management
- Dementia, Delirium, and Depression
- Legal Concerns
- Medicare/Medicaid
- Communication
- Community Resources
- Physical Changes of Aging
The series will be held at the Turner Senior Resource Center, 2401 Plymouth Rd., Ann Arbor MI.
Refreshments will be provided.
Registration is required. Space is limited. Please register by May 24th, 2013.
