Melody Sorrell came to LaBelle and discussed the services and benefits she can provide for members who are Veterans. Melody is a Veteran and established her non-profit agency called Ashley’s Angels to help members navigate the complex Veteran system. Melody has a wealth of knowledge about how to get members all the Veteran benefits that they are entitled to and establish their eligibility. Melody is able to get through the Veteran system much easier than Service Coordinators because of her contacts and experience as a Veteran. Melody is helping several LaBelle members who needed crisis intervention services and was instrumental in helping them find solutions to difficult situations.
