I’ve attached Lindquist’s 10 questions to ask before hiring a caregiver that I took from an AASC newsletter. In addition to the trainings about vetting care givers, I thought these were great questions for SC’s, as well as, for members use.

Recording 3 new AASC resources annually
Last Fall, while I was working on the HUD reports I read that SC’s have a requirement to add at least three new resources to AASC each year. So, whenever I add a new resource on AASC, I am typing in the notes section the date that I entered it. Then I print off my copies for the resource directories. One copy of the new resource goes in my “HUD reporting folder” where I compile anything I may need for the next HUD report. Hope this was helpful!
Downriver Resource Fair
Please see the attached flyer for an upcoming resource fair for Downriver SCs.
Large print resources
Pangea did not know of a way to enlarge the print so I can give large print AASC resources to members. After some trial and error, I also made my resource list for the co-op in large print, and listed by catagory. Here is what I eventually figured out…Clearly I am no genius on the computer! :0 )
Click on the resource you want to hand out, then on Print, Preferences, Effects, click on percentage of normal size and change the percentage (I like 125% ), Click on Finishing, Landscape, OK, and finally Print.
