Our MMAP program is very involved in educating the community on Medicare and Medicaid. Within our program, we also have Fraud specialists who are part of The Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) program.
MMAP/SMP is hosting an educational workshop for management and service coordinators of senior housing in southeastern MI. This event will be held on January 22, 2013 at Laurel Manor in Livonia.
It is our goal to inform all senior housing management and service coordinators of the importance in protecting and educating our seniors on the potential of Fraud in the community. We have seen a drastic rise in Fraud coming from senior housing. By attending this educational event, you will learn of ways you can protect the seniors in your buildings.
We will begin the day with registration and a warm breakfast, followed by guest speakers from federal and local law enforcement agencies and Medicare providers. We are aware your time is very limited; however we do hope you will see the importance of attending this event, or sending a representative.
