Save or Shred?

A group of WSU students hosted a “Save or Shred” event here at Hannan a couple years ago. The intent was to help seniors determine which documents they could get rid of when organizing their paperwork and then shred them in a safe manner. I have the “how to” manual to lend to anyone interested in working with the co-op to hold a similar event. Below is an easy cheat sheet for helping members figure out which of their items can be disposed of. Members are welcome to bring their files to your office for assistance with organizing and purging. You should, however, let the member be the person who actually inserts their document in the shredder. This is important for two reasons.
